Brian Kay, CEO

Brian Kay founded Strategic Education Technologies in 1994. Through the SET platform and a nationwide network of SET Advisors, Brian envisions creating a nation where families can afford to send their children to college – regardless of the cost; and become financially SET For Life without taking unnecessary risks.

Brian graduated from Cornell University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He resides in Bergen County, NJ with his wife and their three children.

Tim Austin, President

Tim Austin is a 25+ year veteran of the financial services industry. His passion has always been helping parents of college-bound high school students solve their most immediate need – paying for their children's college education – while putting them on the pathway to becoming financially SET For Life.

Tim’s passion for coaching has made him one of the leading training and recruiting experts in the financial services industry. He has helped build and create one of the fasting growing financial marketing organizations in the entire world.

John Hollis, Managing Director

John has been involved in the financial services industry for over 25 years. He is known throughout the country as an expert in ‘late stage’ college planning. John has always had a passion for coaching and helps train hundreds of independent SET Advisors all across the country on running their independent SET for College and Beyond practices.

John resides in Highland Heights, Ohio with his wife and five children.

The Insider’s Guide To Sending Your Child To College – Without Spending Your Life’s Savings.” and is also publisher of CollegeMadeSimple.com – the free education resource of SET For College – which provides insider tips, strategies, articles and reports on how to get into the college of your choice and how to pay for it.
